THE AMOEBA
In a pool of water, there is an amoeba. This amoeba, although surrounded by life and a vast world, is completely unaware of anything outside of its little world. The pool of water is all it knows, and all it will ever know. Yet, indifferent to the amoeba's life, the world outside of the small puddle continues onward.
Outside of the amoeba's puddle universe, there is another. In this universe is where we find the human race. They are but amoebas in a tiny speck of dust, clueless of the world outside of the speck.
The human race, clueless as it is, develops ways to explain the world around it, where there is none to be found. Religion is one of these explanations.
Religion is simply a concept invented by the human race, to explain what we know our enclosed minds can not conceive. To put it in easier words, religion is a result of humanity's stupidity, added
to its ignorant sense of pride, and the thought that we are superior to all other beings.
However, the complete belief in science is just as ignorant and closed-minded as that of a religion, because we can not explain what is around us, just like an amoeba. No matter what we can observe and how
much proof there is to support likely causes of the universe, we can not truly conceive the universe, and it is therefore impossible to determine how it came to be.
In the end, it is completely pointless to search for the answer to the universe, as there is none to be found. Yet, the amoeba presses on, wasting its time. It, just like everything else, will fade away,
leaving no mark on the universe, and will be forgotten, lost in time and space forever.
